2018 Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI Beats Hatchback

I’ve had this 2018 Polo TSI for a couple of years now, and it’s honestly been one of the most reliable little cars I’ve owned. Only one owner, low mileage for its age, and it’s been in great condition the whole time. It’s a manufacturer-approved car, so you know it’s been properly checked and maintained.

The 1.0L petrol engine gives it a smooth, quiet drive, and the fuel economy is actually pretty impressive—63 mpg. That means fewer trips to the station and more cash in my pocket. The insurance is low too, which is a big plus if you’re still getting used to driving.

I’ve always loved how spacious it is for a hatchback—boot’s bigger than it looks, so it’s great for weekend trips or shopping. It’s also got a decent safety setup with ESP and pretensioners, and the CO2 emissions are low, so road tax isn’t a big headache.

The 0-62mph sprint in 10.8 seconds isn’t flashy, but it does feel responsive when you want to move off. It’s not a sports car, but it’s quick enough for everyday driving.
