Description
This is the original 1999 Takamine F470SS — one of the very first all-solid models they made. I bought it new back in '99, and it’s been sitting in my home since, never played much, just stored properly. Still looks like it came out of the box — no scratches, no dings, nothing at all. Solid spruce top, solid koa back and sides, gold inlay at the 12th fret. It’s got a low action and plays beautifully, especially for finger picking. The sound is clean and bright, with a nice warmth — not too bright, not too dull. Comes with the original fitted brown Takamine case, keys, and a hygrometer. It’s a real piece of vintage gear, and I’ve only used it occasionally, so it’s still in stunning shape.
