Skoda Octavia 2012 Hatchback Manual 1598cc 5-door

Description

Got this Skoda Octavia in 2012 and drove it for years – it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s diesel, manual, and the interior’s kept clean and tidy, no major dents or wear. The AC works well and the cabin feels really spacious, which I’ve always appreciated.

It’s not perfect though – the slave cylinder needs replacing, one engine valve is faulty, and the front windows won’t open properly. I’ve tried to fix the window issue a few times but can’t get it to work consistently. The shocks are also worn and need replacing.

I’ve not done any major repairs on the engine side, so it’s not something I’d go back to fix. That said, once the slave cylinder is sorted, it’s still a very usable car – smooth to drive, good fuel economy, and the parking indicator on the back is a real plus.

I’ve kept it well and it hasn’t seen any major bumps. Road tax is £30, and I’ve got one key. I’m not looking for a lot of fuss – just someone who wants a reliable, no-nonsense hatchback that’s not too expensive to run.
