Got this old solid oak refectory table in my backyard in alvaston, Derby — it’s a proper chunky piece with sturdy legs and a solid oak brace, held together with two hand-fitted pegs. The top’s mounted from underneath with screws, so it’s easy to take apart if you ever need to move or store it. Measures 145cm long, 71cm wide, and 75cm tall. Was in my old Middletown flat (SY21), but now it’s just sitting here in alvaston. It’s not fancy, but it’s solid — and honestly, it’s one of those things you can’t really replace once you’ve seen it.
