2021 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 TGDi N Line 5-door estate with manual transmission
Description
I’m parting with my 2021 Hyundai Tucson N Line – it’s a solid, well-maintained estate with a clean history and loads of tech that actually works. It’s not flashy, but it’s got everything you’d want in a practical, capable family car.The interior is pretty sharp – 10.25-inch touchscreen with sat-nav, mapcare, live services, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Bluetooth, voice recognition, wireless charging, and even a rev counter. There’s a full driver’s suite: cruise control, lane keep assist, lane follow, driver attention warning, parking sensors, reversing camera, and a few safety bits like E-call and roll-over detection.
The audio’s decent – DAB radio, front and rear speakers with tweeters, USB ports everywhere, and a nice stereo setup. All the climate and comfort bits are there too: dual zone climate, heated front seats, driver’s seat lumbar and height adjustment, adjustable head restraints, and heated windows.
Exterior details: body-colour mirrors, door handles, bumpers, wheel arches, dark chrome grille. LED daytime running lights, front and rear lights, fog lights, high beam assist, and those little things like auto headlights and wipers that just work quietly in the background. The roof rails, skid plates, and tinted glass give it a bit of a finished look.
It has a 40/20/4-0 split rear seat, so it’s roomy for kids or a couple. There’s a lot of storage – door pockets, armrest box, cupholders, glove box with lighting. Also has ISOFIX points and a privacy glass on the back.
I’ve used it for a few years, kept it well, and it’s been mostly low-mileage with regular service. I’m moving to Hatfield, Welwyn Hatfield, so it’s going to be a long time before I see it again.
The price is £17,541 – not a lot, really, considering the features and the condition. It’s not a show car, but it’s reliable and feels like a real driver’s car.
I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for it – it’s comfortable, quiet, and actually feels like a car that knows how to drive. I just need to let go of the keys now.
If you’re someone who likes tech without the noise, and a car that doesn’t need to impress, this might be the one.
