Toyota Yaris 1.3 petrol 5-door manual 2009
Description
Got this car back in 2018 when I started driving it properly – it’s been in my family since then, with me and three previous owners. It’s a 2009 Toyota Yaris 1.3, manual, five doors, metallic grey. First registered in September 2009, and I’ve kept it well since. The car had a bit of a scare in August 2024 – a small nick on the near-side rear wheel arch when changing lanes in slow traffic. Not a big deal, just a patch of dents. My step-mum was the last keeper, and it was written off as Category N – which means minor damage, repairable, but the insurer said no. We sorted it ourselves and it’s been back on the road.
It passed its MOT in August 2024, then again in August 2025 – no warnings, just a clean pass. Current MOT expires in August 2026. It’s 16 years old now, so there’s some age-related wear, but it’s a solid Toyota – reliable, simple, and I’ve been driving it for years.
I’ve kept track of everything: service history, keys, and a few upgrades. Clutch replaced in 2017 at 92k miles, front brakes and pads renewed in 2022, battery swapped that same year, coolant changed in November 2022. Front tyres fitted in 2025, and a full service done in August 2025. Current mileage is around 126,000.
I’ve got all the records, photos, and service notes – just check them out properly before you decide. It’s been roadworthy since the repair, and I’ve used it regularly. No part-exchanges, no haggling – just a straightforward handover.
It’s in Beaminster, Dorset, if you’re local.
