Vintage chunky wood dining table and 6 chairs

I’ve been keeping this table and set in my home for years – it’s a real character. The table top’s been painted with blackboard paint, so kids (or anyone who loves drawing!) can make mess-free art before dinner, then just wipe it clean and it’s back to being a proper dining table.

The chairs? I’ve re-covered the seats with old hessian coffee sacks – each one’s slightly different, and the patchwork look adds to the charm. There’s a bit of shabby chic wear on the white paint, which you can see in the photos – it’s not fancy, it’s lived-in.

Table legs are already taken off, so it’s easy to collect and reassemble with the bolts and washers included. The table’s heavy, but I’m happy to help with it if you’re up for a bit of a lift.

I’m based in ellesmere-port, Cheshire West and Chester, and it’s cash on collection – no hassle. The set is a bit worn but full of personality, and I’m not sure what I’d do without it.
