Description

I’ve had this Zoom RT-123 for a few years now and it’s been a solid workhorse in my home studio. It’s got 99 patterns and can store up to 99 songs — perfect if you’re into making beats or demo tracks. The self-lighting pads are a nice touch; you can see when the sounds are playing, which helps with timing. There are 105 built-in drum and bass sounds that feel really realistic, and I’ve used it for both drum patterns and guitar/keypad demos.

The line-in jack lets you plug in external instruments, which is handy when you want to layer in a guitar or synth. The interface is super simple — even if you’ve never used a drum machine before, you’ll get the hang of it fast. Groove play lets you tweak patterns on the fly by tapping pads during a performance, which I’ve found useful for live sets or just playing around.

I’ve got the optional foot switch too — great for quick pattern starts or changing tempo on the go. And there’s a MIDI IN port if you ever want to sync it with other gear. The battery’s still good, so it’s reliable for years to come.

It comes with the original power supply, user manual, and the box — just a bit worn from regular use. I’m based in iver, Wexham and Ivers Community Board, and I’m happy to meet someone locally if they’d like to check it out. It’s been used quite a bit but still runs great — I’m not charging any extra for the original box or manual, just giving it away as is. Price is £36 if you're interested.
