I’ve had this side cabinet for a few years now and it’s been a real handy bit of storage in my living room. It’s not flashy, but it does the job really well — keeps things tidy and gives a nice, solid look to the space.

The wood is engineered, so it’s stable and doesn’t warp — the surface is smooth and the finish holds up well. I’ve used it for everything from holding blankets to storing kitchen items, and it’s never been a problem with dust or moisture.

There’s one drawer and one small compartment, which is just enough for daily stuff like remotes, mugs, or small tools. The door slides open easily, and I’ve got it set on the right side — it just feels more natural that way.

The top is flat and sturdy, so I’ve been using it to display a couple of photo frames and a couple of mugs. It’s not much, but it adds a little bit of character.

Dimensions are 40 x 50 x 75 cm (width x depth x height), and it’s grey sonoma — a neutral colour that fits in with most rooms.

I’m moving to peacehaven, Lewes, and it’s going to be a bit of a walk to my old place, so I’m parting with it. It’s not expensive — £22.50 — and I just need a bit of space to store things in a different place. If you’ve got a spot where it could work, I’d be happy to send it over.
