2020 Peugeot 208 1.5 BlueHDi 100 Allure 5-door hatchback
Description
So, I’ve had this Peugeot 208 for a couple of years now — not flashy, but actually quite solid. It’s a 2020 model, diesel, 1.5 litre BlueHDi, and it’s got that Euro 6 compliance, which means it’s not too bad on the environment. I’ve driven it a lot, and honestly, it’s been pretty reliable.Inside, it’s got that Peugeot 3D i-Cockpit — the 3D head-up display is a bit of a standout, and the 7-inch touchscreen is easy to use. I use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto all the time, and it works smoothly. The mirror screen is handy too — no need to take your phone out if you’re driving.
I love the visibility pack — automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, and those day-time running lights with the tooth design. It helps when parking or driving in the dark. The seats are comfy, especially the front ones, and they’ve got manual adjustments. The rear bench is fine for kids or short trips.
It’s got a good fuel economy — around 74 mpg — so it doesn’t drain your tank as fast as most hatchbacks. I’ve kept the service history clean, and it’s passed a full AA inspection. Last service was at 71,759 miles, which is a fair bit, but everything’s been looked after.
It’s got a lot of little extras: USB sockets all over, front and rear, a push-button start, heated rear windscreen, rear spoiler, tyre pressure sensors, and even a smartphone docking station. There’s a bit of a tech feel to it without being overcomplicated.
I’ve been using it every day for a few years now, and it’s held up well. It’s not a sports car, but it’s practical — good for commuting, city driving, or weekend trips.
The price is £7,555.50, which I think is fair for what it is. I’m selling it because I’m moving to a new place — walney, Biggar — and I’ve got a few new plans.
I’m open 7 days a week, and I’m happy to chat about it or show it over the phone. If you’re interested, I can send over the AA report or talk through any concerns.
No fluff, just a real car that’s been used, well-maintained, and has a decent history. If you’re looking for something reliable and not too expensive to run, this one’s worth a look.
