Description

So, I’ve been looking at this Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS from 2016 for a bit now — it’s actually running, which is a big deal for a project bike. I bought it a few years ago as a bit of a challenge, and it’s been sitting in my garage in Camelford, Cornwall, getting the occasional service and some light work.

It’s a solid 300cc sport bike — not heavy, not flashy, just a good-looking, light-weight machine with a great sound. The motor starts on the button, runs smooth, and shifts gears well. It’s got a tinted screen, R&G tail, carbon aftermarket parts, and that nice cowl and seat — all in good condition. The front brake is solid, rear brake is fine but needs a clean-up, and the tyres are both in decent shape, though they’ll need a service and a full check.

I’ve had it running, and there’s a video showing it — just a quick walk-around and a ride. I didn’t go full overhaul, just kept it manageable. There’s a small repair under the headlight on the left-hand panel, and a loop on the front seat fixing that broke — both are small fixes. The engine’s mot expired in November 2023, and it’s been owned by six people since new.

It’s not a showroom-ready bike by any stretch — it’s a project, and you’ll need to do a service, a MOT, and some basic checks to get it ready to ride. It’s not unroadworthy, but it’s definitely not road-ready yet — so if you're planning to ride it on the road, you’ll need to get it checked by a proper mechanic first.

I’ve kept it in good condition, and it looks like the photos show. It’s a bit weathered in places, but nothing major. It’s ideal for someone who’s getting into riding and wants a decent, affordable bike to start with — not too much to deal with, but with a real motor and a good feel.

It’s priced at £1,615.50, and I can help with delivery across the country — just ask for a quote. If you’re interested, I’ll send over the video and let you know what I’ve got.

If you’ve got any questions — whether it’s about the condition, the running, or just what to expect — just reach out. I’m happy to chat.

No warranty on this one — it’s a project, and I’m not selling it as a finished machine. But it’s running, it’s solid, and it’s something I’ve actually used and kept working on.

If you’re serious about buying it, I’d suggest doing a full check before you commit — I don’t want you to end up with a bike that’s more trouble than it’s worth.

Let me know if you’re interested — I’ll be happy to talk through it.
