This old Victorian chimney pot was made in Clayton, Bradford, and I’ve had it in my garden for years. It’s a bit of a character – the Whitehead Special, over 46 inches tall (nearly 120cm), with a slightly weathered finish and a small piece missing from the base. It’s not perfect, but it’s a real piece of local history. I found it in the back of a shed and thought it’d look great in a pot with some plants. It’s not just a garden decoration – it’s a real throwback to a bygone era. I’m based in Brierfield, Borough of Pendle, so if you're local and want to collect it, I can pop it out. If you're further away, I might be able to deliver, though it would depend on how far it is.
