I’ve had this Philips AE2430 radio for years – it’s one of those little gems that just works and has a real charm. The black and silver grey finish is classic, and it’s got both AM and FM, so you can tune into whatever you’re in the mood for. I picked it up when I was sorting through some old gear and it’s been a solid companion for road trips and weekends in the garden. It’s not super big, fits neatly in a bag or on a table, and the main cable is still attached. It runs on four C batteries, which aren’t included – I’ve kept them in a drawer for when I need to use it. It’s fully functional and looks like it’s been well cared for.
