2017 Ford Fiesta 1.0T EcoBoost Zetec 5-door hatchback

So, I’ve had this little Ford Fiesta for a few years now — actually, it’s been my first car since I bought it new back in 2017. It’s a 1.0T EcoBoost, 5-door hatch, manual gearbox, and it’s been very reliable. Only 42,000 miles on it, and it’s been well looked after — three owners from the start, clean history, HPI clear, and no red flags at all.

It’s red with black cloth seats, and the interior’s been spotless. I’ve kept it in good shape, so it’s got a solid service record: 7 services at Ford, then a few at Vintec, and the last one — 42,000 miles — I did here at CTC. I’m happy to say it’s been fully serviced and comes with a brand new MOT and service ready to go when you pick it up.

It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues in London or anywhere else with the new emissions rules. Fuel economy is actually pretty good for a small hatchback — I get around 40-45 mpg on the road, which is a real plus. It’s got a 100ps engine, not too much power, but just enough for daily driving.

The bits I love: 15-inch alloy wheels with 5x2 spoked design, ambient lighting, electric mirrors, heated ones, power windows with one-touch, Ford SYNC with DAB, and even a pollen filter. The steering’s smooth, the suspension feels solid, and there’s a decent amount of space for a hatchback. The boot’s useful too — I’ve used it for groceries, camping gear, and even a bike.

I’ve got two keys, and it’s got all the safety stuff — ESP, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring, emergency brake warning, and even a first aid kit and warning triangle. The seats are adjustable, and the seats and trim feel good, especially with the leather on the steering wheel and handbrake.

I’ve kept it low on insurance — low group, and only £20 tax — so it’s not expensive to maintain. It’s been a real joy to drive and a solid daily car.
