So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2015 Vauxhall Mokka SE, 1.6 diesel, manual, 5-door SUV. It’s not flashy, but it’s actually quite solid under the skin. I’ve had it through a fair few miles — 51,150 — and it’s been properly looked after. All the services are on record, with a fresh one done just last month (43,801 miles) at Tunnel Motors.

The interior is decent — premium leather, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and a DAB radio with Bluetooth, USB, and AUX. The boot’s roomy, and the rear seats split-fold so it’s useful for kids or a bit of extra cargo. I’ve also got 18-inch alloy wheels (silver-effect), and it’s got a lot of the smart bits — like cruise control, parking sensors, hill start assist, and traction control.

It’s a diesel, so it’s economical, especially in the city or on the motorway. Euro 6 compliant, so it runs clean and doesn’t fume much. I’ve used it for commuting and weekend trips, and it’s held up well.
