So I’ve got this 2012 Citroen C4 hatchback sitting in my garage in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire — it’s been running well for years, and honestly, it’s a solid daily driver. I’ve had it for a while now and it’s been mostly quiet, just a few bits that need a bit of attention.

The air con blowers don’t work, but I’ve checked everything — fuses, wiring — and it’s definitely a common fault with the blower module. I’ve seen it happen in a few of these cars, and it’s just a matter of swapping out the module, which isn’t too expensive.

It’s got just under 150k miles, which might sound high, but it’s been well looked after and drives smooth. The ABS light just came on recently — not sure why, but I think it might just be a sign that the brakes need a bit of work. I’ve checked them, and they’re still fine and working, so it’ll get you around until you decide to sort it.

It’s got a MOT until February 2026, and the road tax is very low — so it’s not a big cost to keep on the road. I’d keep it myself, but the insurance is just too expensive for my age.
