Description
These are the original Thomas Taylor Top Grade Lignoid bowls — made in Scotland, size 5 1/16, No.3 Bias — and I’ve been using them for years in the kitchen, mostly for games and just passing the time. I’ve kept them pretty well cared for, so they’re in very good to excellent condition for their age. Only a bit of light wear, no chips or dents — just a little smudge here and there from regular use.I took a few photos showing the actual surface of the bowls, so you can see how smooth they are. The colour is a rich brown, and I’ve shared a few shots from different angles — the first few images are the best view of how they actually look.
They’re sitting in a cupboard in my kitchen in Broxburn, West Lothian, and I’m just letting them go because I’ve moved on to a newer set. I’ve had them for ages, so they’ve seen a fair bit of use, but nothing rough. If you’re into vintage bowls or just looking for something with a bit of history, this one’s a solid find.
They’re worth £40.50 — I’m not trying to sell them for a lot, just passing them on.
