2015 Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI Scout Estate 5-door Diesel
Description
So, I’ve had this Skoda Octavia Estate for a few years now — it’s a 2015 model with the 2.0 TDI diesel engine, and it’s got that 184ps punch you get from a properly tuned diesel. I’ve driven it a lot over the years, mostly around the countryside near Ferring, Arun, and it’s been pretty reliable. The 4WD setup is actually handy when the weather turns — I’ve used it on some off-road bits and it holds up well. It’s got a long MOT history, only one previous owner, and it’s been kept in pretty good shape. The DSG gearbox works smoothly, and the fuel economy is actually better than I expected — I’m talking around 56.5 mpg combined, which means I don’t have to stop at the petrol station as often. That’s a real win for someone who’s on the move.
Inside, it’s got a decent bit of tech — Bluetooth audio streaming, DAB radio, sat nav (Amundsen system), and the Bolero touchscreen is easy to use. I’ve got the 17-inch Polar alloy wheels, which look good on the road and don’t scratch easily. The seats are comfy, especially with the height adjustment on the driver’s seat — I can always find a position that feels right.
Safety features are solid too: ESP, ABS, EBD, hill hold control, tyre pressure monitoring, and even a driver fatigue warning. The rear parking sensors are handy when I’m parking in tight spaces. I’ve also got a pollen filter and rain sensor — small things, but useful.
It’s a Scout styling — the front and rear bumpers, sills, and wheel arches give it a more rugged look without being too flashy. The black roof rails and tinted windows add a bit of polish.
I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s actually £7,645.50 — but I’m keeping it because it’s been a solid companion over the years. I’m just looking to part with it now and not have it sitting idle.
If you’ve got any interest, I can meet up in Ferring, Arun, and show it over — no pressure, just a real talk. I’ve driven it plenty, and it’s been dependable. If you’re thinking about a diesel estate that’s practical, tech-savvy, and not too flashy — this one’s worth a look.
