Wooden cot bed with mattress from John Lewis

Got this old John Lewis wooden cot bed from when my son was small — it’s been used a bit, but mostly he slept on another bed, so it’s actually in great shape. The slats are solid wood, no damage, just a bit of wear around the edges. I took a photo without the mattress so you can see the structure clearly. It’s sturdy and has a nice, warm look.

Dimensions are: 145cm long (57in), 80cm wide (31.5in), headboard height 102cm (40.2in). It’s quite big, so you’ll need to assemble it yourself — not a complicated job, though, and all the bolts are saved, so no hassle.

I’m based in Lynton, Lynton and Lynmouth, so collection only from my house. Price is £54 — happy to swap for a fair exchange if you’re local and want to give it a go.
