Description

So, I’ve got this 2010 Mercedes ML 63 AMG — W164 — and I’m finally putting it up for sale after keeping it for a few years. It’s a proper luxury beast with a 6.3-litre V8, and it’s been a real joy to drive. Only 34,180 miles from new — that’s not a lot for a car this size, especially one with a proper service history.

It’s been owned by a Japanese guy from the start, and he did nine services in Japan, last one at 31,814 miles — so it’s been well looked after. I’ve now got it registered in the UK with the DVLA, all duties and VAT paid up front.

It’s finished in Metallic Obsidian Black with black and anthracite leather trim — the kind of interior you’d expect from a proper AMG. The wood trim is poplar, and it has all the AMG styling touches: front spoiler, side skirts, roof rails, side steps. The glass is dark tinted with blue heat-insulating glass all around, which helps keep the cabin cool.

It’s got a full suite of modern features — cruise control, parking sensors, rear-view camera, bi-xenon headlights with active curvelight, air suspension with semi-active damping, adaptive damping, power windows, heated mirrors, and even a power sunroof. The seats are multi-contour with memory settings and heated — front seats too.

The engine is the M156 AMG V8 — 6.3L — and it runs on petrol (E10 compatible). It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues in London or other cities. The wheels are 22-inch AMG double-spoke alloys, and it’s got a full toolkit, spare wheel, and first aid kit.

I’ve done a full UK oil change and filter swap before selling it, and it’s got a MOT valid until 28/05/2026. HPI clear — no red flags. It’s also got a 12-month warranty (can be extended).

I’ve seen it in action on the website — over 20 photos showing it in different conditions. If you’re interested, I’m happy to show it in person — just pop in at my place in Galashiels, Scottish Borders.

It’s a low-mileage, well-maintained example with real ownership history. I’ve had it checked through and it’s solid. I’m thinking about part exchange — if you’ve got something similar or a classic, I’d be open to that.

No price in the title, no fluff — just the facts. If you’re into big, smooth, well-built German luxury cars, this one’s worth a look.
