2017 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI BlueMotion Tech SE Estate Diesel Manual
Description
So I’ve been keeping this one for a while — a 2017 VW Tiguan TDI SE Estate, diesel, manual, and it’s actually been a pretty solid daily driver. Only 66,084 miles on the clock for its age, which feels more like a low-mileage car than one that’s been on the road for years. It’s a Euro 6 diesel, so it runs efficiently and gets around 59 mpg — not flashy, but it’s good for the money and keeps fuel costs down. The cabin’s clean and comfy, with climate control, cruise control, and all the modern bits you’d expect. Bluetooth, phone connectivity, and the Car-Net app are all set up and working.
I’ve got parking sensors front and back, automatic headlight activation with a “leaving home” feature, and even a manual coming home function — which is handy when you’re doing the commute. The seats are roomy, especially the front passenger one, and there’s a fold-down release for when you’re hauling longer loads.
The boot’s generous — plenty of space for groceries or weekend trips. It’s also got ISOFIX points, load lashing points, and a decent bit of safety tech: front and side airbags, curtain airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with brake assist, hill hold assist, and even a drowsiness detection feature.
It’s got 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome trim on the grille and side windows, and all the little things like electric windows, central locking, and a glove box with cooling and a 12V socket. I even keep a first aid kit and warning triangle in the boot.
I’m selling it because I’m moving to Mauchline, East Ayrshire, and I’m not looking to keep it any longer. It’s been a reliable workhorse for me over the years — no major issues, just regular maintenance.
The insurance group is low, so it’s not a big cost to keep running. CO2 emissions are also pretty low, which I’m glad about — not just for the environment, but for running costs.
Price is £10,957.50 — I’ve got a few options for finance if you’re interested, including low rates, no deposit, and even buy now pay two months later (subject to approval with Moto Novo).
If you’re looking at something practical, reliable, and not too flashy — this one’s been a good fit for me.
I’m in Mauchline, East Ayrshire — just let me know if you’d like to see it. No pressure, just a straightforward car with a lot of useful features.
(And yes, I did check the warranty — 3 months included, can upgrade if you want.)
