So I’ve been keeping this one for a while — a 2017 VW Tiguan TDI SE Estate, diesel, manual, and it’s actually been a pretty solid daily driver. Only 66,084 miles on the clock for its age, which feels more like a low-mileage car than one that’s been on the road for years.

It’s a Euro 6 diesel, so it runs efficiently and gets around 59 mpg — not flashy, but it’s good for the money and keeps fuel costs down. The cabin’s clean and comfy, with climate control, cruise control, and all the modern bits you’d expect. Bluetooth, phone connectivity, and the Car-Net app are all set up and working.
