4K Dash Cam Front and Rear with Night Vision and GPS

I’ve had this 4K dash cam for a few months now and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. It’s brand new in the box, came with everything — including the hardwire kit — so I’ve been able to set it up properly for 24/7 protection.

It’s got a 2.45” screen, 4K front and FHD rear, and the rear camera rotates 360° — super handy for parking. The wide-angle coverage (170° front, 150° rear) means it picks up a lot more of the surroundings, even if you're not directly facing a car. I’ve seen it pick up license plates from cars that were only a few meters away, which is a real relief when driving in busy areas.

Night vision is solid too — the lens is F1.5 with a 6-layer optical design, so it handles low light really well. I’ve driven through dark roads and it still records clear footage, including signs and plates. And if there’s a crash, it triggers emergency recording automatically — no need to worry about missing anything.

It also has ADAS features: it reminds you when someone’s getting too close, when you’re drifting out of your lane, or if a pedestrian crosses in front. It even nudges you to take a break every two hours if you’ve been driving for a while — that’s a nice little safety touch.

I use the Botslab app to check footage and view the GPS location, speed, and route. It’s easy to connect via WiFi (even 5G), and I’ve downloaded some of the scenic drives to share with friends.

The super capacitor battery lasts way longer than normal batteries and works in all weather — from snow to heat — so it’s reliable whether it’s sunny or stormy. With the hardwire kit, it’s been running 24/7 while I’m parked, which gives me peace of mind.

I’m moving to Harlech, Gwynedd, so I’m passing it on. It’s been great for me, and I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it. Price is £90 — I’ll keep it simple and just say it’s what I’ve got to spare. If you're looking for something solid and practical for your car, this is definitely worth a look.
