I’m selling my 2024 MG HS SE – it’s been a real joy to drive, especially for family trips or just getting around town. The 1.5L turbo engine is responsive without being too loud, and the 162PS gives you enough oomph without burning fuel.

It’s got 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that look sharp, and the 10.1-inch touchscreen is smooth – Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work perfectly. The rear camera and sensors make reversing a breeze, and the DAB radio, Bluetooth, and sat-nav keep me connected no matter where I am.

Inside, it’s roomy – plenty of space for kids or gear, and the boot’s big enough for weekend stuff. Even the little things like auto dimming mirrors, heated door mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers add to the comfort.

I’ve had it for a couple of years now, and it’s been well looked after. It’s got the full 7-year/80,000-mile warranty, so I’m confident it’ll last. The price is £18,361.80 – it’s not cheap, but for what it offers, it’s actually quite solid value.
