Grand Vintage Cotstone A1 Planter
Description
I’ve had this Cotstone A1 planter for years – it’s one of those pieces that just feels right in a garden or a room. Made by British craftsmen back in the day using local stone and old-school techniques, it’s sturdy as a rock and looks great even after years of weathering. The stone has a natural patina, and the rosette and leaf designs in relief are really well done – you can see the detail, and it’s not flashy, just solid. It’s heavy, which makes sense – that’s part of its charm.Dimensions: 37cm tall, top is 36cm square, bottom 29cm square. There’s a central drainage hole so it won’t flood. I’ve been using it in my patio for ages, and it’s become a real feature.
We’re moving to a smaller place in Prescot, Huyton, and honestly, I just don’t have room for it anymore. So I’m letting it go – no deliveries, no holding, just passing it on. If it’s in the ad, it’s still available. I’ve never had it in a show, never sold it before, so it’s been well cared for. It’s not just a planter – it’s a piece of history, and I’m happy to finally let it go.
£54 if you're interested – I’ll take a quick look if you’re local.
