So, I’ve got this 2023 Renault Austral Tech Esprit Alpine Hybrid auto here – it’s a bit battered, front and side damage, but it does start and move. It’s been through an insurance claim, so it’s a salvage vehicle, and I’m not selling it as if it’s fully road-ready.

If you’re looking at it, you’ll need to check it yourself. I’ve included a basic rundown, but nothing’s 100% accurate – especially the specs that show up on eBay or Gumtree. Those are just pre-filled, and I’d strongly advise doing your own checks.

It’s currently based in Tiptree, Colchester, and I’m happy to arrange a viewing or delivery – just let me know. Delivery’s possible anywhere in the UK, though it’ll come at extra cost.

I’ve got a few other cars in the yard too, mostly from insurers, so there’s a decent range of stuff. If you’re serious about looking, I’d suggest bringing a mechanic or engineer along to go through the damage. No guarantees on anything – it’s sold as seen, and once it’s out of the yard, it’s your responsibility.

If you’re thinking about buying, make sure you check the HPI, confirm the reg and VIN, and get a full look at the condition. Some of these have had claims before, so it’s not always clear from the records.

Payments can be made via debit card (we prefer that), bank transfer, or cash – just let me know. If you pay cash, there’s a 2% handling fee, so I’d suggest otherwise.

Deposits aren’t refundable, and if you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, we can hold it and re-sell it.

I’m not selling this as a perfect car – it’s a salvage unit, and it’s not meant to be driven on public roads until it’s fully repaired and meets all legal standards. If it has a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive – it might have been damaged after the test. A new MOT would be needed after repairs.

I’m not giving any warranties, and I don’t guarantee things like spare wheels, sat nav maps, or charging plugs – those can be missing or damaged.
