LG 55” 55LM64 or 55LM640T TV with horizontal line issue
Description
So, I’ve got this old LG 55” TV — model 55LM640T, made back in 2012 — and I’m finally letting it go. It’s been in the family for a while, and honestly, it’s not really fit for my current setup anymore. My new living room is way too small for it, and it’s not exactly what I’d call a modern screen anymore. The thing is, it’s still got a good display — the 3D cinema thing from that era was wild, and it still plays all kinds of content. But it’s got this weird fault: horizontal lines running evenly across the screen. I tried a few fixes, like resetting and checking connections, but nothing helped. I think it might need a part replaced to fix it properly.
I’ve got the remote and the original box somewhere tucked away — I can hand it over if you want. I don’t really expect it to work well after this, but if someone has the skills to fix it, I’d be happy to give it a go.
Price is £45 — just a quick sale, no hassle. Pick it up from templecombe, Somerset. Either late August or early September. No deliveries, just collection.
(And yes, I know the “weird hairless dog” in the photos is a bit of a stretch — that’s just how I’ve always seen it.)
