2012 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport 5-door Hatchback

So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable little cars I’ve ever owned. It’s a 2012 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport, five doors, manual — clean, solid, and not flashy, but gets the job done.

Only 59,000 miles on the clock, and it’s had two previous owners. Both of them were Audi main dealer service people, so it’s been properly looked after. I’ve had it checked out with a full 12-month MOT, a pre-delivery inspection, and the service was done right when I bought it — no surprises.

Inside, it’s got air conditioning, Bluetooth, and a decent setup for a hatchback. The 1.4-litre petrol engine is efficient — runs smoothly, doesn’t eat fuel like some other small cars. I’ve got it to 52 mpg on average, which is pretty good for the size. CO2’s low too, so it’s not bad for the planet.

It’s quick for a small hatch — hits 62 mph in about 9 seconds, which isn’t flashy, but it’s solid for a daily driver. Safety features like ESP and seat pretensioners are all there, which is a plus.

I’ve kept it in ash, Dover, and it’s been parked mostly in one place — not much mileage on it, just regular use. It’s been well looked after, and I’ve only ever done routine maintenance.
