2014 Mazda2 Colour Edition 1.3L 5-door Hatchback Petrol Manual
Description
I’m selling my 2014 Mazda2 Colour Edition – it’s been a real joy to drive and has just over 33,000 miles on the clock. For a car this old, it’s impressively low mileage, which means it’s still running smoothly and feels like it’s been well looked after. It’s the 1.3L petrol engine with the Colour Edition trim – that distinctive look gives it a bit of character without being flashy. The interior has air conditioning, which I’ve used every single season, and a Parrot Bluetooth system so I can keep hands off the wheel when I’m on the move.
Fuel economy is solid at 57 mpg – I’ve actually got it to that number over a few trips, so it’s a real budget-friendly driver. Insurance’s been low, CO2 is low too, which means it doesn’t cost a lot to keep on the road.
I’ve always been into cars – since I was 11, I was in my dad’s garage fixing things, learning to drive tractors, and eventually working in a garage in Falkirk. After years in mechanical engineering and a full apprenticeship, I moved into vehicle management and eventually started my own car sales business in 2012. I’ve been running Central Scotland Car Sales since 2013 and have always kept a hand in the hobby side – I’ve done track days, raced in the Scottish Legends Championship, and even started my own Legends Racing team back in 2016.
I’ve kept a few track cars around over the years, and that hands-on experience really helps me spot what’s worth keeping and what’s just been sitting around.
This car has been in my collection for a while, and I’m happy to part with it now. It’s a solid, practical car with good value, and I’ve had it serviced regularly. I’m offering a 2-month parts and labour warranty on the sale – just to cover the basics, with the paperwork available if you want to take a look.
I service cars across Scotland – Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and beyond – so if you're in that area, I’m happy to chat.
It’s not just a car – it’s a piece of my journey with motorsport and mechanics. And I’m pretty sure it’ll serve you well too.
Price: £5,399.10 – just a quick note, I’m not selling it at a bargain, but I’ve kept it in good shape and have a real feel for what it takes to run a car properly.
Location: Ballindalloch, Moray – I live right here, so it’s easy to arrange a view if you’re interested.
