2022 Volkswagen T-Cross 1.0 TSI 110 SEL 5-door hatchback
Description
Got this T-Cross from a local dealership in Greenock, Inverclyde, and decided to part with it after a few years of regular use. It’s a solid little hatch with a clean, modern look and loads of features you’d expect from a newer model. The interior is pretty well sorted — leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated rear windscreen, and a decent digital cockpit. I’ve used the climate control a lot, especially in the winter, and it’s pretty effective. There’s also a USB-C port and a USB socket in the centre console, plus a media system with We Connect Plus — that’s useful for navigation and emergency calls.
I’ve kept it pretty tidy, so no major damage or wear, just normal use. It has all the safety bits: adaptive cruise, lane assist, driver alert, parking sensors (front and rear), and the rear window aerial. The seat settings are adjustable, and the front seats are sporty with good support.
The 17-inch alloy wheels look sharp, and the body-coloured bumpers and door handles match nicely. I’ve used the electric windows, power steering, and the automatic lights (dusk sensor), which come in handy on dark drives. The boot floor is a bit of a mess from time to time, but the tailgate has a foldable spoiler and opens smoothly.
I’ve driven it fairly regularly, so it’s not brand new, but it runs well and has a good feel. I’ve also noticed the washer fluid warning light and the tyre pressure loss indicator — both are helpful.
It’s not a flashy car, but it’s practical, well-equipped, and easy to drive. I’ve had it checked recently and it’s in good shape. The only thing is, it’s a bit of a long drive from where I live now, so it’s not really for daily use anymore.
If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-packed hatchback with good tech and solid safety features — this might be worth a look. I’m not selling it for a big price, just passing it on.
(Price is £17,280 — not a huge sum, but it’s what it is.)
I’m based in Greenock, Inverclyde, and happy to meet up or arrange a viewing. No fancy marketing, just a real car, real use, real life.
