Description

I’ve had this 2015 Renault Captur for a few years now and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s a diesel, so it’s been pretty frugal on fuel – I’ve been getting around 79 miles per gallon, which is better than most in its class. The 1.5L dCi engine runs smooth, and it’s Euro 6 compliant, so no worries about emissions.

It’s the Dynamique S Nav trim, which means it’s got the handsfree keycard with push-button start – super handy when you’re getting in and out of the car. The MediaNav system lets you connect your phone via Bluetooth, which I use a lot for calls and music.

Inside, the climate control is decent – you can set the temp and it even has an air quality regulator, which I appreciate when the air’s a bit thick. There’s also a one-touch demist function, which helps with mornings when it’s foggy. The rear parking sensors are body-coloured, so they blend in and help when parking, especially in tight spaces.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s got low insurance group, which means the running costs are reasonable. CO2 emissions are low too, so it’s not a bad choice if you’re looking for something efficient and not too flashy.

It’s currently parked in Alfreton, Amber Valley, and I’m just looking to get rid of it. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and I’ve used it for everything from commuting to weekend trips. If you’re in the market for a practical, fuel-efficient hatchback with good tech, this one might just work for you.
