Wharfedale 420 Loudspeakers Vintage
Description
So, I’ve been going through a bit of my old gear and decided to part with these Wharfedale 420 speakers. They’re vintage, definitely not showroom fresh — the grille fabric is a bit droopy, and the silver cones on the tweeters have some wear, but they still play fine. I’ve tested them thoroughly, and they work well — just not in top shape.I’ve had them in a smoke and pet-free home, so they’re clean and safe from the worst of the wear. There are a few little marks, but nothing serious. The speakers are fully functional and I’d only list them as spares or repair parts — no returns on that, so if you’re thinking of buying, you’ll want to know they’re not perfect.
I’ve changed prices a few times over the years — a lot of my stuff is half price, so this one’s been a bit of a bargain. They’re not for someone looking for a pristine pair, but if you're into vintage audio and want a working pair for a project or a backup, they’re worth a look.
Photos are full of details — check them out. All the other hi-fi bits in the photos have their own listings too.
If you're local to Wells, Somerset, I’m happy to let you test them before you buy. I only use Parcelforce for delivery, and I’ll pack them for free — just need to know the size of the box and where you’re picking it up. Drop them off at a spot 5 minutes from North Walsham, about 25 minutes from Norwich.
No silly offers or fake bids — I get hundreds of them every month, and I don’t like that. Please read all the listings and think about what you’re really after. If you’re looking for a real deal, you might just find this one worth a penny or two.
