Vintage Super Dual Stiretta Actina projector screen 120x124cm

Description

Got this old projector screen from a family member back in the day — it’s a vintage Super Dual Stiretta Actina model, about 120cm wide and 124cm tall when fully extended. It folds down pretty nicely, and I’ve used it a few times over the years for movies and home cinema setups.

The screen itself is white and still looks clean enough to wipe down, though there are a few minor marks and some creases near the bottom. I’ve actually cleaned it a bit already — just a bit of effort to get it looking good again.

The real issue is the plastic parts have started to break down. The end caps, the top bracket, and the screen hooks are all starting to fall apart. The upper rear adjuster is particularly bad — the spring has pushed through the plastic, so it’ll need some fixing to work properly. But it still moves and holds the screen in place, so it’s not totally useless.

I’ve kept it in a closet for years, mostly just as a curiosity, and now I’m downsizing. It’s not in great shape, but it’s still a solid piece of retro tech. Photos are attached — you can see the wear and the plastic degradation clearly.
