So, I’ve been keeping this little beetle for years — it’s basically my family car now, but I’m upgrading to something a bit more modern. Honestly, it’s been a solid driver, no rattle, no knocks, just smooth and quiet even on bumpy roads.

It’s got a full service history binder — all the receipts, every maintenance record, right down to the last MOT. The MOT expires in September 2025, so it’s still ticking over fine. The 1.9L engine is a bit old-school, but it’s reliable, super economical, and the insurance’s cheap — not something I’d have expected from a car this age.
