Vintage grey military travel trunk with steamers and original address

Got this old trunk sitting in my shed in Bingley, Bradford — it’s one of those vintage military trunks from the early 20th century, with the original address inside: Lt. B.J. Herman, R.M. Officer's Mess, RM Barracks Eastney, Portsmouth. The lid opens smooth, the brass fittings are still intact, and it’s got the classic English cabin trunk style — even has the steamers on the sides. It’s not fancy, but it’s solid, and I’ve been meaning to get rid of it for a while. I’ve used it a few times to store things, but it’s mostly just sitting there, collecting dust. It’s worth a look if you’re into vintage pieces or just want a piece of history. I’ve had it for years and it’s been in one place, so it’s not been moved around much. I’m not selling it for a lot — just £67.50 — but it’s not for sale in the traditional sense, more like a bit of a family heirloom I’ve kept and now thought it was time to share.
