2021 Ford Ranger 2.0 EcoBlue Wildtrak Double Cab
Description
So, I’ve had this 2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrak for about 18 months now, and it’s been a solid workhorse. I bought it new and it’s been my main car for everything – work, weekend trips, even a few long hauls to the coast. It’s a full deranged conversion, so I didn’t just go for the basics – I upgraded the interior, added a lot of extras, and it’s been properly sorted out. Total cost of the conversion was about £17k, so it’s not cheap, but it’s been worth every penny.
The wheels are in-chrome satin black alloy, the body’s boulder grey, and it’s got all the bits that make it stand out – like the black pack, stainless steel side exits, bonnet vents, and that sporty hoop with side rails. I’ve also got LED headlights, fog lamps, and a full LED daytime running light setup.
Inside, it’s got heated front seats, leather trim, driver’s seat with 8-way adjustment, and a full leather-stitched steering wheel. The dash is all ebony, and there’s a nice touch with ambient LED lighting. I’ve added a lot of practical bits too – power points, tie-down hooks, a load box bedliner, and even a roof rack with storage for my sunglasses.
It’s got everything you’d expect from a Wildtrak – ABS, ESP, roll-over mitigation, airbags (front, side, curtain, knee bolsters), parking sensors, cruise control with AEB and lane-keeping aid, and a Ford SYNC 3 radio with DAB and TMC. The keyless entry and start is super convenient, and I’ve got a spare wheel lock and a passive anti-theft system.
It’s a full Thatcham Category or 1, so it’s secure. I’ve also got a rear-view camera, power tailgate, and a lift handle on the decklid. The interior is clean, the seats are comfy, and it’s been well maintained.
I’m based in Ashford, Kent, and I’m looking to part with it because I’ve just moved to a smaller place and don’t need it as much anymore. It’s still running strong, and I’ve only had one owner since new – so it’s been treated well.
The price is £26,995.50, which is exclusive of VAT. It’s a bit on the high side, but it’s a solid, well-equipped truck with a lot of upgrades. I’m happy to show it around or take it for a test drive if you’re interested.
Just thought I’d share it – it’s not flashy, but it’s actually quite reliable and gets me where I need to go.
