2012 Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 255 HSE 5dr Auto Estate Diesel
Description
This 2012 Land Rover Discovery is a solid, well-loved estate with a lot of history under the skin. It’s a 3.0-litre diesel with the HSE trim, automatic transmission, and loads of modern features. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been mostly used for family trips and weekend drives — very reliable, even if it’s not the flashiest car. It’s got everything you’d expect: airbags, power steering, electric windows and mirrors, remote central locking, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a wide-screen sat-nav with reverse camera, panoramic glass roof, and roof blind. The interior is full cream leather, heated and electric seats, and the seats fold down easily for when you’re carrying stuff. There’s also parking sensors front and back, bi-xenon headlights, LED DRLs, fog lights, and auto lights.
It’s been three owners from new, has a solid service history, and I’ve kept it well maintained. The AC works great, alloy wheels are clean and shiny, and the CD changer is still in play — I just haven’t used it much lately.
I bought it in 2015, and it’s been a real workhorse. I’ve driven it all over the North of England, including trips to the Lake District and the Dales. It’s not flashy, but it’s comfortable, quiet, and gets you where you need to go without fuss.
I’m based in Dukinfield, Tameside, so it’s easy to pick it up if you’re around. The car’s been looked after well, and I’m happy to chat about it or show it if you’re interested.
I’ve been thinking about selling it now because I’m moving into a smaller, more practical vehicle — but I know it’s a solid car for a lot of people, especially if you’re after a spacious, capable estate.
Pricing is £3,140.10 — fair, I think, given its age and condition. If you’re looking for something reliable and roomy, this one’s been a great companion.
If you’re interested, just get in touch — happy to answer questions or meet up.
