These are two vintage ceramic wall plaques from the 1950s, designed by Helja Liukko-Sundstrom for Arabia Finland. I found them in a box in my parents’ attic – they’ve been sitting there quietly for years. No chips, no cracks, just lovely, clean pieces. They were made to hang on the wall, so there’s a small hole in the back – perfect for a simple hook or wire. Each one is about 11cm across, so they’ll fit nicely in a small hallway or as a decorative touch in a kitchen or living room.
