Description

Got this one from my old comic collection — Captain America #252, published September 1980. The story’s a bit wild: Batroc chains Cap to an oil tanker, plans to use it as a nuclear torpedo to blow up NYC. But then Batroc slips up and loosens the chains, letting Cap escape. Hyde thinks Batroc’s gonna betray him and tries to snap his spine — turns out Batroc wasn’t on board for the murder plan. Solid 9.0 grade, only a bit of wear around the staples and stress points from being opened and read a few times. The cover’s still shiny, no tears or marks, and the pages are clean — not yellowed at all. Stored carefully, so it’s not a mess. I’ve only looked at it a couple of times, so it’s still in pretty good shape. It’s from oxfordshire, England, and it’s sitting in a box now. Price is £5.39 — just saying, it’s not super expensive.
