Pair WW1 Orient Trench Art Vases – "Souvenir Orient 1918" and "Champagne 1914–18"

Description

These two vintage trench art vases came from a WW1 soldier’s collection, found tucked in a soldier’s kit in Horncastle, East Lindsey. They’re not perfect—there’s some minor chipping and fading—but they’re solid, heavy, and have a real story behind them. The inscriptions “Souvenir Orient 1918” and “Champagne 1914–18” are clearly engraved, and they were likely used to hold small keepsakes or wine. I found them in a local antique shop years ago, and they’ve sat in my kitchen for years, now just looking for a new home. I’m keeping them for now, but I’ve decided to part with them. They’re not flashy, but they’re honest and full of history. Price is £67.50.
