Description

This is a 2004 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 50th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster, built by Greg Fessler and finished in 2 Tone Sunburst. It’s one of those rare, high-end builds that just feels solid from the first time you hold it — the weight, the neck shape, the way it sits in your hands, it’s all about quality. The factory ageing is gorgeous, like it’s been lovingly cared for over the years.

It’s got the classic 1954 "U" neck profile, 21 medium jumbo frets, an ash body, and maple neck and fingerboard. I’ve been playing it for a few years now and it’s held up really well — the frets are clean, the electronics play true, and the sound is what you’d expect from a top-tier Strat.

There’s some light wear on the body, mostly on the outside, and a couple of small dings — one slightly bigger on the bottom edge. All of that’s visible in the photos. The guitar is in solid condition, not flashy, just real and honest.

It comes with the original hard case, certificate of authenticity, and the tremolo arm. I’m based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, so I can arrange a collection there or send it out via fully tracked and insured courier — just let me know how you’d like to go.

If you’re into vintage Fender builds and want something that actually feels like it’s been hand-crafted, this one’s a keeper. I’ve got a link in the photos to my shop page — 58 Sound, in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. We’ve been around for a while and have a solid track record, with hundreds of 5-star reviews across all platforms. You can find us on Instagram @the58sound if you want to chat.
