Got this old Vauxhall Insignia hatchback from 2011 – 2.0 CDTI, five doors, manual gearbox. It’s been used lightly, only 76k miles, and starts every time without issue. Engine runs smooth, quiet, no rattles or knocks.The steering wheel doesn’t self-centre while driving, which I’ve noticed, but it’s still fine to drive – not too heavy, just a bit different than modern cars. Handbrake switch is faulty, but the actual handbrake works just fine.
It passed its 60-day MOT, so it’s in decent shape. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been mostly parked, so it’s not been used much. Just a solid little car that’s been reliable.
