Trek X Caliber 9 Large Hard Tail

So, I’ve got this Trek X Caliber 9 Large hard tail that I picked up brand new back in January 2023. Honestly, it’s been sitting in my shed for a while now — not because I didn’t want to ride it, but because I bought an e-bike and this one just didn’t feel like the right fit anymore.

Only done about 100 miles total — mostly on the road, a few times on a bridal path. Never seen any real rough conditions, just some light drizzle. No scratches, no dents, looks like it’s never been out of the garage. Still rides like a dream — smooth, stable, and totally responsive.

- DMR DeathGrip flangeless grips
- COOSPO bike computer
- Nukeproof Horizon pedals (currently flat, can easily switch to SPD if you want)
- Topeak Mono Cage bottle mount
- Topeak RaceRocket pump

The frame is Alpha Gold aluminium, with internal derailleur and dropper post routing — nice little details. It’s got a RockShox Recon Gold RL fork with a debonair spring and motion control damper. Wheels are Bontrager alloy hubs, sealed bearings, 6-bolt, Boost110 and 141 setups. Rims are Bontrager Kovee double-wall, tubeless-ready, 28-hole, 23mm width. Tires are Maxxis Ardent Race, tubeless, EXO casing, folding bead — 29x2.35" with a 60 tpi.

Drivetrain is Shimano SLX M7100 12-speed front, XT M8100 rear derailleur, MT611 crank with 30T ring. Chain is SLX 12-speed. Saddle is Bontrager Arvada, steel rails, 138mm wide. Seatpost is TranzX JD-YSP18 with 130mm travel. Handlebar is Bontrager alloy, 31.8mm, 15mm rise, 750mm width. Grips are Bontrager XR Trail Comp, stem is Bontrager Elite, 31.8mm, 7-degree, 80mm. Headset is semi-integrated, sealed cartridge. Brakes are Shimano hydraulic disc, MT4100 lever, MT410 calliper — front 180mm, rear 160mm rotors.

Weight is 12.75kg (about 28lbs), max total weight limit is 136kg (300lbs) — so it’s not for super heavy loads, but it’s plenty for normal riding.
