So, I’ve got a 2023 Tesla Model Y RWD electric car on the shelf here in Consett, County Durham. It’s a 73 reg, and it’s been through a bit — front and side damage, basically. The insurance claim’s been settled, and it’s repairable.

Now, I’m not saying it’s perfect. It’s not been driven much after the incident, and the original info you might see online (like on eBay or Gumtree) might not be 100% accurate — that’s something I’d always recommend you double-check yourself.

If you’re thinking about looking at it, I’d suggest you come down and see it in person. No point in relying on photos or a quick phone description. Bring along a mechanic or someone who knows cars — they’ll give you a better sense of what’s actually under the skin.

If you’re going to take it, you’ll need to arrange delivery — that’s an extra cost, and it can go anywhere in the UK.

Important bits to note:
- This car isn’t road-ready until it’s fully repaired and passes all legal checks.
- A MOT doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive — it might have been tested after the damage, so you’ll need a new MOT once it’s fixed.
- The interior — like parcel shelf, spare wheel, or sat nav data — might not be in place. All vehicles come from insurers, so we don’t control what’s inside.
- No warranty at all. We’re not responsible once you take it off our site.
- If you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, we’ll keep the deposit and sell it to someone else.

All major debit cards are accepted. Cash is fine too, but if you pay cash, there’s a 2% handling fee.

And yeah, the price is £10,795.50 — I don’t have to say it, but it’s a fair chunk.

Just don’t go thinking it’s in perfect shape — it’s not. It’s a salvage car, and it’s got a story. I just want to make sure you know what you’re getting into.
