Description
This one’s from 1971 – Captain America & The Falcon #146 – the one where Falcon says “Maybe that's because you're white, Colonel… and don't know how it feels to be on the other side of the color line!” and then there’s this mission to stop the Femme Force. Pretty solid stuff, though it’s been around a bit. I’ve got it in a bit of a worn state – the spine’s a little rolled, one staple’s loose, and there’s a bit of yellowing, especially at the edges. The cover might have a tiny tear or crease, and the centrefold could have come loose from the staples. Still, nothing’s missing – it’s complete, just not in pristine shape. The printing’s faded a bit, but no stains or tape beyond a small patch to fix a tear. For a British comic, it’s a bit more frayed at the corners and edges than you’d expect. I bought it second-hand, kept it for years, and now I’m just passing it on. It’s not perfect, but it’s still got the spirit of the issue. And yeah, it’s £8.99 – not much, honestly, just what it’s worth. Got it stored safely in a box, never been exposed to much moisture or heat. From isle-of-cumbrae, 11.
