Hornby OO Golden Plover R2340

Description

Got this little Hornby A4 Pacific steam loco — the Golden Plover — and it’s been sitting in my garage since I got it. It’s the R2340 model, one of the Gresley 4-6-2s, painted in BR green with that classic late crest. Came in a box from the 2004–2005 run, and it’s still in the original packaging — the box is solid, not dented, and the whole thing’s been stored carefully. I bought it a few years ago and it’s been a fun little addition to my layout, especially since it’s DCC ready. I’ve only run it a few times, so it’s still in great condition. It’s in leslie, Fife, and I’m just passing it on because I’ve found a better fit for my current collection. It’s worth about £144 if you're curious, but I’m just giving it a chance to go to someone who’ll actually enjoy it.
