Description
Snow Goose is a Matelot 20, built in the mid-seventies by Cox Marine in Brightlingsea, she is now in need of a little tlc. The fibreglass hull is strong and structurally sound - Matelot 20’s were originally designed and built as sturdy workboats. Snow Goose was finished as a sailing boat. Her mast, boom and sails are available and included in the price. She is fitted with a one cylinder engine - Yanmar GM10. The engine works and we recently used her to move some boats around at the marina. She has bilge keels and is the perfect boat in which potter about and do a bit of fishing. Although she has a cabin, it does require a bit of attention, so simple carpentry skills will be required. She is being offered for sale by the marina after being handed over by the owner who fell behind with the mooring fees. There is no berth available and she will need to be removed from the marina immediately following purchase. There is no trailer available and no lift-out facilities on site.
