2011 BMW X3 xDrive20d SE 5dr Estate Diesel Manual
Description
I’ve had this 2011 BMW X3 for a few years now and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. It’s only got 78,500 miles and was owned by just two people, so it’s been well looked after. The diesel engine is a real workhorse — gets around 50 mpg and doesn’t fumble at all, even on long drives. I’ve never had to worry about the fuel bill, which is a big win. It’s the SE trim, so it’s not flashy but feels proper and solid. The panoramic sunroof is a real plus — you can open it up and just let the light in, especially when you’re doing a bit of weekend camping or heading out for a long trip. The audio system is decent too, not top-tier but good enough for music and calls.
Inside, there’s plenty of storage space and run-flat tyres, which means I’ve never had to worry about a flat on the road. The reversing camera with top view helps a lot when parking — especially with the bigger size of the estate.
I’ve tested it in a lot of different conditions, and it hits 62mph in about 8.5 seconds — not rocket science, but it does what it’s supposed to. The boot’s big enough for a couple of kids’ bikes or a full shopping load, which is handy.
I’m moving to Pitlochry, Perth and Kinross, so I’m looking to part with it. It’s been a solid companion over the years and I’m not selling it for a quick profit — just because I’m downscaling and want something a bit simpler.
It’s got ESP, safety belt pretensioners, and the sunroof — all standard safety and comfort features. The price is £5,395.50, but I’m not putting that in the title because I don’t want to sound like I’m trying to sell it. Just thought I’d share it with anyone who might actually want a reliable, practical, and reasonably efficient diesel SUV.
