2023 Toyota Aygo X 1.0 VVT-i Edge 5-door hatchback

Description

I’ve had this 2023 Aygo X for a few years now and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s been one owner since new, so it’s kept really clean and well maintained. The 1.0L petrol engine is smooth and responsive, and it meets Euro 6 standards – no surprises there.

Inside, it’s got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so I can connect my phone without having to fumble with a cable. The air conditioning works well, and the automatic climate control keeps things comfortable, whether it’s a hot day or a chilly morning. I use the adaptive cruise control all the time – it’s easy to set up and helps a lot on long drives.

Bluetooth lets me make calls and play music without touching the wheel, and the auto headlights turn on and off as needed, which is handy when driving at dawn or dusk. It also has ESP and seat pretensioners – safety stuff I don’t want to overlook.

Fuel economy’s solid at 59 mpg, and with low CO2 and insurance group, it’s one of the cheaper cars to own. I’m not planning to sell it soon, but I’ve been thinking about letting it go – it’s been reliable, practical, and just about perfect for my daily commute.
