Description

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — not because I need it, but because it’s just that kind of car. A solid, modern hatch with loads of tech, and honestly, it’s been a joy to drive.

It’s a 2024 Peugeot 2008 1.2 PureTech, 130bhp, manual — all the basics, but with a lot of smart features. The i-Cockpit is a big one — 10-inch touchscreen, HD capacitive, and fully configurable. You can set up the 3D head-up display to show all sorts of stuff, like speed, fuel, and temperature. The touchscreen is easy to use, and I’ve got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto set up.

Inside, it’s clean and well put together. Leather steering wheel, carbon-effect trim, and plenty of storage. Seats are comfy — front seats have manual height adjustment, and the rear seats fold down automatically. The cabin has a low centre console, good storage, and even a front armrest with a little bin.

The tech list goes on — DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB-C ports front and rear, front and rear parking sensors, driver attention warnings, tyre pressure monitoring, and even a digital trip computer. The rear has USB-C and USB-A, plus a wireless mirror screen. I’ve used that a few times with my phone, and it’s been great.

Exterior’s been well taken care of too — gloss black trim, body-colour door handles, dual chrome exhaust, and those cool claw-style LED lights. The rear lights have a 3D effect, and they light up at night. The roof is dark tinted, and the side windows are also tinted. The alloy wheels are 17-inch Karakoy diamond cut — looks sharp.

I’ve got heated and power-folding mirrors, one-touch electric windows with pinch protection, and even a rear wiper with heated glass. The roof rails and rear spoiler are all colour-coded to match.

It’s been parked in Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway, mostly just sitting in the garden — not a daily driver, but I’ve kept it well maintained. I’ve done a few short trips and it’s been reliable.

I’m not selling it for the money — I’ve actually just got a new job and I’m moving to a different area. It’s been a good companion over the years, and I figured it’s time to let it go.

It’s worth about £17,300 — not because I’m trying to sell it cheap, but because that’s what it’s been worth in the market.

If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or show it around. No pressure — just a car I’ve loved for a while.

(Stellantis &You UK is the new name for Robins & Day — we’ve been around for over 100 years, and now we’re part of Stellantis, which means better service and more support. All used cars come with a 6-month warranty — I can share the details if you’d like.)

Open days are Monday to Friday 9am–6pm, Saturday 9am–5:30pm, Sunday 10am–4pm. I’m happy to arrange a viewing — just let me know.
