STIGA Model 1 carbon fibre lawnmower
Description
Got this old STIGA Model 1 lying around in wooler, Northumberland, and figured it was time to part with it. It’s a proper high-end battery-powered mower — runs on an 80V lithium-ion battery, so no fumes, no noise, just clean cuts. The chassis is a mix of carbon and Kevlar, so it’s light as a feather but still tough enough to handle regular garden work. The screen is a 2.4 inch LCD that shows you the speed, cutting height, and battery level in real time. I like how you can switch into eco-mode when mowing dry grass — cuts it down without draining the battery too fast.
Cutting width is 48cm (19 inches), height adjustable from 25 to 75mm, perfect for gardens up to 700m². It’s got upright storage too, so you don’t have to store it sideways. Battery and charger are both included.
It’s been well looked after, mostly used on my own patch, and I’m happy to keep it in the same spot for now — collection only. Price is £2,520 if you’re interested, but I’m just saying it’s not for sale, it’s just being passed on.
